My Feeble Attempt At Resolutions
Wow! We're almost to the end of yet another year. I don't know about you, but I notice that the older I get the faster the years go by. Now, why is that???? Is there a way to slow it down? If anyone discovers this secret, please let me know!
Like everyone else in the blogging world, I've been contemplating on what I'd like to accomplish for the coming new year.
For the writer in me:
1. Complete Redemption (Part one to the Underverse serial)
2. Attempt to write my very first book review (wish me luck!)
3. Join a local writing club (to expose my face and work...gulp!)
4. Focus on word count instead of days/hours I've managed to write (we'll see if that helps improve my productivity)
On a more personal level:
Sorry, we won't go there (Remember, I'm a figment of my own imagination and refused to dwell in the "real" world)!
Have a safe and happy New Year's!!!

NaNoWriMo Update and Other Tidbits
Here's a quick update to this year's NaNoWriMo: I fell short of the goal (50k), ending up with a little over 39,450. But, that's okay! This story is far from being over; in fact, it is begging me to finish it.
And, I will.
The story idea is strange, but interesting to me. I plan on posting this as a web fiction soon so keep checking here for the when and the where.
What's the story about?
Well, let's make it short and sweet then. It's a story about a young girl who initially survived a zombie apocalypse on her world, who would then be rescued (seemingly) by none other than the man in the red suit who took her away to his fantastical realm. Sounds like a light fairy tale? It won't be.
Stay turned here for more on this dark fantasy, Tomorrow Falls.

Brad Pitt and Zombies
I'm a big fan of anything zombies, and occasionally I enjoy watching a movie with Brad Pitt. Then I saw this movie trailer and have made a solemn vow to go and see this when it comes out this summer!
I admit that I have yet to read the book that inspired this movie; however, I am torn between purchasing the book to read before seeing this movie, or wait until afterwards.
What do you think?

A Poem Share
A poem that the other "me" wrote yesterday:
Garden of Life
The seeds of sorrow
planted in blood and in tears
spring forth hope and joy

2012 NaNoWriMo
After about a three-year hiatus, I will be participating in this year's National Novel Writing Month. I've been toying between two or three different story ideas, but decided to use NaNoWriMo to finish Redemption. The question is will the remaining storyline (already posted 20 chapters to the web serial) amount to 50,000 words; but hey, yon never know!
